James R. Milhiser
Chairman of the Board
James R. Milhiser has served on the Board of Trustees since 2004 and was elected Chairman of the Board in 2010. He held the office of Treasurer from 2005 through 2007 and was elected as Vice Chair in 2008. Mr. Milhiser is a Vice President at U.S. Bank. He serves as City Treasurer for the City of Ontario and has served on the boards of many local organizations.

Mark Bertone
Vice Chairman of the Board
Mark Bertone has served on the Board of Trustees since January 2008 and was elected to the office of Vice Chairman in 2010. He held the office of Treasurer in 2009. He is President of Madole & Associates, Inc., a local civil engineering and land surveying company. Mr. Bertone previously served on the San Antonio Hospital Foundation's Board of Directors.

Al Ronco
Treasurer
Al Ronco has served as a Board member since 2004. He is a retired executive of Keystone Automotive Industries. In addition to serving on the Board at Keystone, Mr. Ronco also serves on the Board at Whittemore Enterprises and has been an active member of the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association and the Auto Body Parts Association.

Donald M. Alpiner, D.O.
Trustee
Donald Alpiner, D.O. has been a Trustee since January 2007. He was President of the Medical Staff in 2000, and served as an ex officio Board member from 1999 through 2001. Dr. Alpiner joined the hospital's Medical Staff in 1984 and was in private Family Medicine practice for 26 years.  He is currently a hospital-based physician assisting in Surgery.

Dora Barilla, DrPH, MPH, CHES
Trustee
Dora Barilla has been a Trustee since January 2008. She serves as a faculty member at Loma Linda University School of Public Health and as the Executive Director for the Office of Health Policy and Leadership. She is also the Executive Director for a not-for-profit organization, Partners for Better Health. Ms. Barilla has extensive involvement in community health organizations and initiatives.

Victor C. Ching, M.D.
Past President of the Medical Staff
Victor Ching, M.D. is an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees and serves a three year term that expires in December 2010. Dr. Ching is a Urologist in private practice in Upland. He has been a member of the San Antonio Community Hospital Medical Staff since 1982. Dr. Ching is a member of the Board of Directors of the San Bernardino County Medical Society.

Thomas T. Easter, M.D.
President of the Medical Staff
Thomas Easter, M.D. is an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees and began a three year term in January 2009. He joined the San Antonio Community Hospital Medical Staff in 1987. Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Easter is in private practice with the Women's Medical Group of Upland.

Richard E. Gilbert
Trustee
Richard Gilbert has been a Trustee since January 2005. He is a Vice President with BFI Business Finance and has over 30 years of experience in financial business development, specializing in asset-based lending.  He is active in the California Chapter of the Commercial Finance Conference, and was honored with its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003.

The Honorable J. Michael Gunn
Trustee
J. Michael Gunn has served as a member of the Board of Trustees since 2002. He served as a Superior Court Judge in the County of San Bernardino for 20 years, a Deputy District Attorney for the County of San Bernardino for three years and was an attorney in private practice for 10 years. Judge Gunn has been a board member of several local organizations.

Stanley Kim, M.D.
President-elect of the Medical Staff
Stanley Kim, M.D. is an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees, serving a three-year term that expires in December 2012. Board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and Hematology, Dr. Kim joined the San Antonio Community Hospital Medical Staff in 1989. He is a board member of several organizations.

Steven C. Moreau
President & CEO
Steven C. Moreau is an ex-officio member of the Board of Trustees. He joined the hospital as President and Chief Executive Officer in March of 2005. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach, was Chief Executive Officer of Bakersfield Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, and, before that, Vice President of Facilities Development and Professional Services at Riverside Community Hospital.

Thomas B. Ritchie
Trustee
Thomas Ritchie has been a member of the Board of Trustees since January 2009.  Mr. Ritchie is a real estate attorney with the firm Ritchie, Klinkert & McCallion.  He is a member of the California Bar Association (Real Estate Section); a member and past president of the San Bernardino County Bar Association, Western San Bernardino County Bar Association, Inland Mediation Board, and Apartment Association of Greater Inland Empire; and a member of the California Mountaineering Club.

Carl L. Schultz, M.D.
Trustee
Carl Schultz, M.D., was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2009.  He joined the San Antonio Community Hospital Medical Staff in 1987 and is a Board Certified Radiologist.  Dr. Schultz was President of the Medical Staff in 1999 and served as an ex officio Trustee from 1998 through 2000.  He is Medical Director of the hospital's Radiology Department and a partner in the San Antonio Radiological Medical Group.

Steven H. Spears
Trustee
Steven Spears has been a Trustee since January 2009.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and Managing Partner with the CPA firm of Mellon, Johnson & Reardon.  Mr. Spears is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs.  He serves on the board of various community organizations including the San Antonio Hospital Foundation and the Scheu Family YMCA of Upland.
