New Grad RN
Student Nurse Externs
Offering a broad scope of orientation training programs, ranging from 3 to 6 months of support and guidance from your personal preceptor, to facilitate a smooth transition to practicing nurse, San Antonio Community Hospital (SACH) has many specialties for the new graduate RN. Through instruction and clinical experience, the new grad is exposed to concepts and related experiences pertaining to nursing care and performance standards. Our programs include classroom instruction, skills laboratories, and clinical experience with one-on-one precepting. New grads can find an area of interest and develop a career path in areas such as Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, ICU, ED, Peri-anesthesia, Maternal/Child, NICU, and the OR. New grad open houses are held twice a year, which provide students with information on upcoming new grad programs, tours of the nursing departments, and the opportunity to experience our unique welcoming atmosphere. To learn more about opportunities in your area of interest, call 909.920.4816 or click here to send an e-mail to our nurse recruiter.
