Cardiac rehabilitation is the process of returning an individual to the most active lifestyle possible for that individual after a cardiac event. And, it actually starts while you're still in the hospital with short trips around your room and down the hall.

Our inpatient program includes teaching, psychological support, and reassurance. Cardiac rehabilitation RNs routinely see the patent and family during the hospital stay to reinforce teaching and assist in preparing the patient to go home.
