Services
Our state-of-the-art facility, located immediately adjacent to the hospital, provides a full range of women’s diagnostic and support services in one convenient location. These services include digital mammograms, ultrasound, breast MRI , stereotactic breast biopsies, bone density scans, breast health education, and patient navigation services.Hours of Service
Bone Density (DXA Scan), Ultrasound, Mammography - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mammography Only - First Saturday of the month 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Patient Navigation
As an added benefit to our patients, San Antonio Community Hospital (SACH) also offers a patient navigation program. Our Nurse Navigator is available to guide patients through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care, if necessary, a process that can sometimes be confusing and stressful.
Our Women’s Breast and Imaging Center is also equipped to provide you with the resources and support you may need, including clinical trial information, links to community support groups, information and assistance with appointments, treatments, education, and reference materials.

Our clinical trials program includes surveillance of various types of cancer within the community and educational resources for patients to access national clinical trials. Clinical trials are provided by cooperative research groups that are funded by the National Cancer Institute.
